Trampoline Gymnastics Spatial Awareness

Start: November 29, 2020
End: November 29, 2020

Location: Webinar

The Gymnastics BC Trampoline Technical Committee invites athletes to attend their educational session on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 - Trampoline Gymnastics Spatial Awareness with Jason Burnett.

*Please note: Although this program is tailored towards National Level TG athletes (L5 through SR), we are happy to invite non-TG member athletes and coaches to partake in this educational session.

A message from Jason about the session:

"Spatial awareness is a key component for every trampoline athlete. To learn spatial awareness, athletes should practice skill progressions and how to spot the bed at strategic moments in the air. This will help the athlete build confidence in their acrobatic abilities and avoid “getting lost”. During this presentation I will discuss some of the ways I have built my own spatial awareness and overcome “getting lost” throughout my career as an Olympic trampoline athlete from Skyriders Trampoline Place."
